Day 02

Route : Colombo > Negombo (18km)

On arrival, assistance at the airport and welcome by our local agency.
Departure to discover Negombo, the fishing village and its fish market.
Non alcoholic welcome drink on arrival in hotel check in.
Arrived at the hotel. Installation and relaxation.
Dinner and overnight at the Club Dolphin 4 *.

Negombo

Day 03

Route : Negombo > Kandy (115km)

Departure towards Kandy by a very beautiful road and first discovery of the varied landscapes of Sri Lanka.
Arrive at the hotel in Kandy.
Installation, lunch and relaxation.
Visit Dalada Maligawa, the famous Temple of the Tooth relic. Evening, traditional kandyan dancing show.
Dinner & night at hotel Earls Regent 4*.

Kandy

The sacred city with the Lord Buddha’s most venerable temple of the tooth shining bright among the misty hills and unique traditions of construction, dance and customs. If you are to feel the heritage of Sri Lanka the Dalada Perahera – a parade full of tuskers and traditional colorful dancing all night, is not to be missed.

Day 04

Route : Kandy > Nawalapitiya(by train) > Ramboda (120km)

Day 05

Route : Kandy > Matale > Nalanda Gedige > Dambulla (130km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Dambulla.
Visit, TEMPLE DE NALANDA GEDIGE.
Sri Lankan Traditional lunch ‘Rice & curry’, spice garden & batik factory.

Matale

Matale is the largest town of Matale District of the Central Province, of Sri Lanka. It is 142 kilometres (88 mi) from Colombo and near Kandy. Surrounding the town are the Knuckles Mountain Range, the foothills were called Wiltshire by the British. It is a mainly agricultural area, where tea, rubber, vegetable and spice cultivation dominate.The Aluvihare Temple, on the north side of the town, is the historic location where the Pali Canon was first written down completely in text on ola (palm) leaves in 29 BCE.

Dambulla

Day 06

Route : Dambulla > Sigiriya > Hiriwaduna > Habarana (130km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Sigiriya rock.
Lunch at a traditional village with a demonstration of preparing traditional food.
Then departure in oxcart for a walk through the countryside. Arrival in the village and visit the nursery school (depending on the class days) and the temple. Walk in the rainforest. Visit a farm in the heart of the jungle and meet with the peasants.
It is an atypical visit that will allow you to meet the locals.
Dinner and overnight in the cultural triangle hotel Sigiriya 4 *.

Sigiriya

The 8th world wonder to be the glorious rock kingdom which was solely built basing a stand rock situated in the middle of a forest. The path is paved for you to explore the paintings of Sri Lanka’s ancient artists and architects, and 6th century engineers of water flow systems. Believe it or not and rate what Sigiriya would make you feel.

Habarana

In between the sacred Dambulla and World Marvel Sigiriya lies the place of accommodation and arrangement portal for elephant rides. Habarana has a railway station where you could get down from expecting to visit Minneriya and Kaudulla national Parks.

Day 07

Route : Dambulla > Beach (170km)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure towards very beautiful beach of west coast.
On the way, stop at DAMBULLA, a rock monastery, whose five caves sanctuaries are entirely decorated with Buddhist murals, executed in the eighteenth century. Lunch on the way.
Arrival at the beach. Installation and relaxation.
Dinner and overnight at Kamili Beach villa 4*.
